Timeline for adapting to the regulations governing Invoicing Software Systems (VERI*FACTU)
- 29 July 2025: Software developers and providers of invoicing systems must offer solutions that comply with the requirements established by the regulations.
- 1 January 2027: Mandatory compliance for legal entities (companies and other entities) using invoicing software systems, except where specifically excluded under the regulations.
- 1 July 2027: Mandatory compliance for self-employed individuals and other individuals carrying out business or professional activities who use invoicing software systems, except where specifically excluded under the regulations.
- These requirements do not apply, among others, to taxpayers subject to the Immediate Supply of Information (SII) system or to other cases expressly excluded under the regulations.
VERI*FACTU Implementation Planning Recommendation
REQUEST VERI*FACTU ACTIVATION
The VERI*FACTU system will come into effect from 1 January 2027, in accordance with the timetable established by the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT). To ensure a smooth implementation and avoid potential delays due to the expected high demand in the final months of the year, we recommend that, if your installation requires adaptation, you request VERI*FACTU activation as early as possible.
Implementation requests have been processed for several months in strict order of receipt. Due to the volume of requests expected to be concentrated in the final weeks of 2026, assessment, planning and implementation lead times may increase significantly. For this reason, Equinsa Parking cannot guarantee that requests submitted at short notice before the effective date will be fully implemented and operational by 1 January 2027. This will depend, among other factors, on the date the quotation is accepted, the volume of requests pending at the time, and the specific characteristics of each parking facility.
It is also important to note that adapting to VERI*FACTU does not simply involve a software update. In some parking facilities, prior work may be required on the hardware, system configuration or specific components of the installation. These requirements must be assessed and validated by our Technical Service team before implementation can be scheduled.
