SENSE servers are at the heart of the car park management platform, designed to deliver reliability, performance and security for day-to-day parking operations.
SENSE Servers centralise the system’s core intelligence, managing communications with field equipment, the database, data processing and the applications that support parking management and payment operations. They are built on professional HPE ProLiant 1U rack-mount hardware, designed for 24/7 operation in demanding environments.
The SENSE Intermediate version provides a well-balanced platform for medium-sized installations. It features an HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10 Plus server with an Intel Xeon E-2314 processor, 16 GB of memory and redundant SSD storage. It runs Windows Server 2022 Essentials and includes the EQ SENSE Intermediate Server licence, providing a robust foundation for managing car park equipment and data.
SENSE PLUS is designed for more complex car parks and parking networks requiring greater processing capacity, scalability and database performance. It is built around an HPE ProLiant DL160 Gen10 with a Xeon Silver processor, professional-grade storage and a redundant power supply, together with Windows Server 2019 Standard, User CALs and SQL Server licences for advanced data management and analysis.
Both configurations are supplied ready to run the corresponding EQ SENSE licence, ensuring full compatibility with the Equinsa Parking ecosystem. Their industrial-grade design, wireless functionality disabled for security purposes and use of professional components are designed to protect sensitive data and ensure service continuity.
