Integrated Car Park Number Plate Recognition System
The ANPRP system is Equinsa Parking’s Automatic Number Plate Recognition for Parking system.
It’s a versatile system, offering multiple solutions in its use. It is integrated with our other systems, adding new services and features.
This system allows for an increase in the safety of the compound and complies with Law 40/2002 of 14 November, regulation of contracts on the parking of vehicles, subsequently modified by Law 44/2006 of 29 December.
The system is responsible for reading number plates with cameras, which converts the image through a program into a digital signal and registers it in a database, allowing this information to be used for better control and management of the facilities, transmitting the obtained identification to the Car Park Management System. This provides excellent vehicle number plate regulation in car parks, and therefore greater security. The number plate is also recorded in print on the customer’s ticket.
The association of the registration number to the ticket number prevents fraud in car parks and, in case a ticket is lost, you can locate the actual time of entry with the registration number.
The system can be used to regulate vehicle access in both car parks and enclosures.
The system allows for integration with the Management and Visualisation application, including the capture of perimeter images of the vehicle and even a facial image of the driver, which the operator can check in case of any incidents.

SYSTEM HARDWARE/strong>
ANPRP CAMERA WITH BUILT-IN LIGHTING
Placed in each access route in which you want to perform number plate recognition. Take multiple photos when detecting a vehicle.
The ANPRP camera is responsible for capturing number plates. As soon as it detects a vehicle, it begins to take multiple high-quality and high-contrast photographs so that the ANPRP IP can automatically recognise license plates with maximum reliability and safety.
A high-resolution camera with IR focus allows for recognition in both high-lighting and low-lighting conditions.
The ANPRP camera can be installed for outdoor or indoor use. It has a casing with protection that follows IP-65 regulations.
Equinsa Parking has a modern camera pole made out of aluminium and steel casing, resistant to even the most aggressive outdoor environments while protecting the ANPRP camera from any impact.
The ANPRP system also has an auxiliary colour image camera to capture the perimeter images of the vehicle and the driver’s facial image. With Autoiris varifocal optics regulation, it includes a protective casing for external use.
ANPRP IP
All access peripherals and number plate recognition are controlled through the ANPRP OCR engine and the corresponding cameras. It is located in the entrances/exits and as many as necessary will be installed, depending on the number of entrances and exits of the enclosure. All of them are connected via ethernet to the station where the Database and the Manager Application are installed.
SOFTWARE
The number plate regulation software has been developed to offer the operator a comprehensive tool to help the management system, which can be installed independently or in conjunction with the Equinsa Parking management system. The system is very quick, so users will not notice its presence (the ticket will not be delayed). In addition to the registration number, the system allows for the capture of side images of the vehicle and even a facial image of the driver.
Our software has the ability to automatically recognise number plates in a large number of ways at the same time.
Powerful use and management tools will allow for the search and issuing of reports in a way that complements the methods used by the car park management system, resulting in better regulation of certain incidents within the system.
The system also allows zones to be defined, as well as the counters within them, providing great flexibility in regard to the possible actions to be taken in accordance with the status of the established counters. One of the added values of the system, in addition to control, is the security that it provides.
The Database provides the means for the storage and consultation for all the information necessary for the operation of the system. You can update data in the Database and get Lists. Features for pass holders, rates, companies and users include:
